No mas political correctness

Nice vacation from political correctness. I just ate an ice cream called the "chinito". It was two scoops of ice cream with slanty eyes and a fu man chu.

Thoughts from Sunday

Yesterday I went to Catholic mass with my cousins, and really got a new appreciation for the Catholic Church. It is much more alive down here than in the United States. I feel like the materialism of the US has almost suffocated the spirit in the church, and many non-Catholic Christians have such a negative attitude towards them. Yeah its not perfect, but neither is any church. It's easy to forget how much of a blessing it is to worship Jesus Christ in any fashion. I'm beginning to realize just how much cynicism I have suffered from towards the Catholic church. I'm not about to become Catholic, but God is starting to open my eyes that it really is one church under Christ as the high priest that we are apart of, and it is mostly our pride that is separating us. We truly are blessed!

Other than that, I'm enjoy good food and weather, and enjoying time with family before I go to the mountains.
